I stop in once or twice a month for breakfast and I end up getting more than I should because it's all amazing!
This was my first time in the Area. I walked up to the shop about 8mins after closing time. I was sad so while I was walking away, the owner came to the door and greeted me! I really wanted to try the donuts out because I saw the reviews! After telling him, he let me try an assortment AFTER THEY WERE CLOSED! Never has that happened before. Customer service isn’t even the word to describe how friendly and warm he was! To top it off.....every single donut me and my mother tried was delicious! We tried the red velvet, glazed, blueberry, m&m, and we have a few more to try! I just couldn’t wait to share this review! The donuts were moist, and fluffy, and unlike any donut I’ve ever tasted. I’m a northerner and thought Krispy Kreme was good! This shop is beyond perfection! I would drive miles and miles back just to try them Again! I will be posting after we’ve eaten the rest! And we will be returning customers. I may have to get into the gym more after this experience ❤️
Went in at 11am. They make their fresh donuts at 6am and again at 8am. The man there was super friendly and professional. They only sell individual donuts and 12ct dozens. The customers told me they loved it there too. They have
Quite honestly the best donut I've ever had. Locally adored business with incredibly passionate owners who couldn't be more polite. Quickly becoming a staple of Covington. If you're around town, definitely stop by and give it a taste. Or, be like me and drive over an hour just to try it out yourself. Worth it!
The customer service is as great as the donuts! This is, by far, my most favorite place to grab breakfast or just hang out. I feel welcomed as soon as I walk through the door. I even walked in after they had closed and the owner, Mike, greeted me with the biggest smile and helped me figure out which creative donut I was going to get! I do not know of another place in Covington that makes every experience feel personable, fun. and welcoming like Donut King does. Wish there were more stars for me to give these guys!!
Bavarian cream was my favorite but thanks to them...maple bacon has dethroned it.
You know that moment when you are eating something and you know it's sooo bad for you but it tastes soo good you can't stop? Yeah... that's pretty accurate here.
