This place is located in an historic building in downtown Covington. This was part of the TV series Vampire Diaries. The food is very good and the atmosphere amazing. In the summer you can sit at the tables on top of the building which also has a small bar. Currently (December) the square is decorated for the holidays and it's really beautiful at night. This is a very historic town and is used for filming television ànd movies often. If you haven't visited you should. There are many stores and other eating places that are wonderful. Make a day and then night of it. It's well worth the 45 minute drive from Atlanta.
I used to work in the Gift Shop down below. This is an amazing restaurant and the boutique is so cute. The only problem is with ownership and staff. The owner / manager decided to cut my hours along with my mother and sister. We decided this was not the job for us. I had written notes with MY BINDER, MY PAPER, MY PEN, at home for my sister to look at if she ever needed help. When we quit working there I took it with me, for goodness sake, it still said biology on it from high school. They called the police and demanded me to bring it back and to show them how to use THEIR SYSTEM. LOL THE OWNER DID NOT EVEN KNOW HOW TO USE IT. Well the police asked us to show them, so we did. The manager told me I would never do anything in life, and that I was never to ask for a recommendation. Don't worry no one wants a recommendation from someone who doesn't actually know the employee. Anyways, the owner decided to ban us from ever visiting the restaurant ever again.
Re heated food... almost.

This Historic building is the 100% authentic filming site for Vampire Diaries Series. It is also a FULLY Functioning restaurant that is Classy.

Came back because of the great taste of the first visit.
We had a great meal at Mystic. We were from Florida due to the hurricane. The food was great the service superb atmosphere incredible. The owner greeted us and gave all 5 of us a free meal. An unnecessary but gracious thing to do. We loved everything about Mystic Grill and highly recommend it. Will eat here whenever we visit.
