We love Uptown Cleaners! They provide special attention to the needs of my husband and his shirts and we feel like favored clients every time we come in! This business is a great example of small-town enterprise and great customer service!
Does this town have a decent dry cleaner?!? I would give this zero stars if able. They gave my wife somebody else's clothes. They told her she was wrong when she called to tell them. When I took it back, the owner got angry at me for asking him to find my shirt. He asked me to be 'reasonable' which in his world is driving home and waiting for him to look for the shirt later and call me. How could I possibly think it is unreasonable to not want to make a 3rd round trip for the shirt that was due to me 3 days ago? No apology or shirt yet. I recommend you find someplace else. If anything goes wrong here, it will somehow be your fault. He did at least confess that he is a small operation that couldn't take time out to search for the shirt they lost. Good luck with that.
I had many bad experiences ever with Up town Martin cleaner and Martin Crossing cleaner. I had to bring a dress 3 times to be cleaned and they could not clean it. The first time I found big black smears on the dress and other spots that were not there before I brought it in. Second time i found more black spots on that hot pink linen dress. The third time the owner told me they could not cleaned it. I need to make this dress sleeveless and I told him no. He got very angry and rude and he told he doesn't want me to come to his cleaner no more that I need to go some place else. he also asked me how many times did I wear my dress to get it that nasty, very rude. He also overcharged me for another suit that he could not also properly cleaned, by overcharging me he also made me pay twice for 2 garments he could not cleaned. I found out that those 2 cleaners have the same owner if I knew that I would not brought my clothes again to them after I already had a bad experience with the Martin Crossing cleaner before. I need to get out of covington to find better cleaner. They have bad customer service and bad cleaning service. If I could rate at zero that what I would do, since there is no zero that why I gave them 1
